The following are event volunteer roles for the FIRST LEGO League Explore program.

Closing Ceremony Assistants
Assists with set-up and break-down of Expo material in auditoriums or halls used for closing ceremonies. Assists with the organisation, controlled flow of traffic into and out of hall; assists with control during awards presentation.
Required Skills :
- Ability to collaborate with others and work as a team
Floaters
Covers various roles based on needs as they arise including: registration, traffic control, messenger and team escort. Floater may be reassigned if a volunteer does not show up or needs to leave due to an emergency or illness. This is a critical role.
Required Skills:
Flexible, “go with the flow” attitude
Ability to work as part of a team and be an effective communicator
Ability to jump into a physically demanding role
Set-up/breakdown Assistants
Assists with set-up of Expo area as well as breakdown of Expo area at end of day.
Required Skills:
Physically demanding role; ability to stand for long periods of time.
Reviewers
Have to review the models of the teams and their Show Me Posters. Then collaborates with other reviewers to assign awards to all teams. Will join other reviewers on stage to give ‘high fives’ to team members and to hand out medals and awards at the Closing Ceremony.

Team Activities
Assist with set-up and break-down of team activity space. Oversees activity area. Assists with organized rotation of teams in and out of each activity.

Team Escorts
Help keep event flowing and on time. Assists teams with finding table space in Expo are as well as the way to other areas of the Expo: activities, reviewing rooms, closing ceremonies, etc. ???????? This person should be very aware of the schedule, and needs to be able to keep track of more than one thing at a time.
